Mute est un groupe de musique électronique actif dans les années 1990. Malgré la documentation limitée disponible, leur album "Sleepers" a connu un succès modeste auprès des amateurs de musique expérimentale et ambient. Le groupe semble avoir préféré rester discret, limitant les interviews et les apparitions publiques. Malgré le mystère qui les entoure, Mute continue d'être apprécié pour son atmosphère sonore unique et suggestive.
