Hit-Boy, de son vrai nom Chauncey Alexander Hollis Jr., est un producteur de disques, rappeur et auteur-compositeur américain né à Atlanta, Géorgie, en 1989. Considéré comme l'un des producteurs hip hop les plus influents des dernières années, Hit-Boy a collaboré avec des artistes de renommée mondiale tels que Kanye West, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Drake et Nas. Son style de production se caractérise par des rythmes innovants et des mélodies accrocheuses, souvent avec une touche vintage rappelant les années 90. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
