My Chemical Romance è un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi a Newark, New Jersey, nel 2001. Il gruppo, composto da Gerard Way (voce), Mikey Way (basso), Ray Toro (chitarra) e Frank Iero (chitarra), ha raggiunto la fama internazionale negli anni 2000 grazie al loro sound emo rock caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e un'estetica teatrale. I My Chemical Romance hanno pubblicato tre album di successo: "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" (2004), "The Black Parade" (2006) e "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys" (2010). Il loro album "The Black Parade", in particolare, è diventato un classico del genere emo rock, vendendo milioni di copie in tutto il mondo. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
