Anastacia est une chanteuse américaine d'origine brésilienne. Née à New York en 1968, elle a commencé sa carrière musicale dans les années 1990 comme chanteuse dans des clubs nocturnes. Son album de début, *Not That Kind*, sorti en 2000, a connu un succès international grâce au single *I'm Outta Love*. Anastacia est connue pour son timbre vocal puissant et ses chansons pop-rock énergiques. Parmi ses plus grands succès figurent également *Paid My Dues*, *Left Outside Alone* et *Everything Burns*. La chanteuse a collaboré avec des artistes tels que Eros Ramazzotti, David Guetta et Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds. Anastacia a été nommée pour de nombreux prix Grammy et MTV Video Music Awards.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
