The Sounds sono un gruppo musicale indie rock svedese formatosi a Malmö nel 1999. Il gruppo è composto da Maja Ivarsson (voce), Joakim Åhlund (chitarra), Fatima Al-Qadiri (basso) e Patrick Eklund (batteria). The Sounds hanno raggiunto il successo internazionale con album come "Living in America" (2006) e "Turning Up the Volume" (2010), caratterizzati da un sound energico e orecchiabile, influenzato dal pop rock degli anni '80. I loro brani più noti includono "Hit Me", "Alive", e "Song for America". The Sounds sono noti per le performance live intense e coinvolgenti, che hanno portato a tour in tutto il mondo.
