Gli Ugly Duckling sono un gruppo hip hop statunitense formatosi a Long Beach, California, nel 1993. Il trio originale era composto da Dizzy Dustin, Young Einstein e Andy Cooper. Conosciuti per il loro stile caratterizzato da rime intricate, beat funky e testi spesso ironici e autoironici, gli Ugly Duckling hanno contribuito a definire l'underground hip hop californiano degli anni '90. Il loro album di debutto, "The Ugly Duckling", uscito nel 1996, è considerato un classico del genere. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
