Blink-182 est un groupe américain de pop-punk formé à Poway, en Californie, en 1992. Les membres fondateurs sont Tom DeLonge (chant et guitare), Mark Hoppus (chant et basse) et Scott Raynor (batterie). Après avoir sorti plusieurs démos, le groupe a signé avec Cargo Records en 1994. Leur premier album, *Cheshire Cat*, est sorti en 1995. Blink-182 a atteint la renommée internationale dans les années 1990 et 2000 avec des albums comme *Dude Ranch* (1997), *Enema of the State* (1999) et *Take Off Your Pants and Jacket* (2001). Le groupe est connu pour son son énergique, ses chansons accrocheuses et ses paroles ironiques qui abordent des thèmes comme l'adolescence, les relations et la vie quotidienne. Blink-182 a vendu plus de 50 millions d'albums dans le monde entier et a remporté de nombreux prix, dont un MTV Video Music Award. Au cours des années, le groupe a connu plusieurs changements de formation, avec Travis Barker qui a remplacé Raynor à la batterie en 1998. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
