I Kumbia Kings sono stati un gruppo musicale messicano specializzato nella cumbia, formatisi a San Antonio, Texas, nel 1997. Il loro sound, una fusione di cumbia tradizionale con elementi di hip hop, pop latino e R and B, ha riscosso un enorme successo negli Stati Uniti e in America Latina. Il gruppo è stato guidato dal talentuoso cantante e compositore Domingo Quiñones, noto per la sua voce potente e le performance energiche. I Kumbia Kings hanno pubblicato numerosi album di grande successo, tra cui "El Regreso" (2001) e "Kings of Cumbia" (2003), che hanno contribuito a diffondere la cumbia in tutto il mondo. Tra i loro brani più famosi ricordiamo "Azúcar", "Baila Conmigo" e "Yo Quiero Bailar". Dopo una lunga carriera, il gruppo si è sciolto nel 2006.

Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
