Jadakiss, de son vrai nom Jason Terrance Phillips, est un rappeur américain né à Yonkers, New York, en 1975. Il est connu pour ses rimes complexes et sa présence scénique charismatique. Jadakiss est membre fondateur du groupe D-Block, aux côtés de Styles P et Sheek Louch, et a collaboré avec The LOX par le passé. Il a sorti sept albums studio, dont "Kiss tha Game Goodbye" (2001), "The Champ Is Here" (2004) et "Top Dog" (2009). Jadakiss est considéré comme l'un des rappeurs les plus influents de son époque, ayant un impact significatif sur la scène hip-hop contemporaine. Parmi ses morceaux les plus représentatifs figurent "Knock Yourself Out", "Who's the Man?" et "Why".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
