Dispatch était un groupe américain de folk indie/roots formé au Middlebury College de Middlebury, Vermont. Actif de 1996 à 2002, il s'est réuni trois fois pour des concerts de retrouvailles, d'abord en 2004, puis en 2007 et enfin en 2009. Le groupe a expérimenté avec une variété de genres musicaux, ce qui rend sa classification difficile. Dispatch a également joué un rôle important dans la création de l'organisation à but non lucratif The Elias Fund. Les membres étaient Brad Corrigan (chant, batterie, guitare, percussion et harmonica), Pete Francis Heimbold (chant, basse et guitare) et Chad Urmston (chant, guitare, basse et percussion). Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent : 'Two Birds', 'The General', 'Circles Around the Sun'.
