Spock's Beard è una band progressive rock formatasi a Los Angeles nel 1992 dai fratelli Neal e Alan Morse. Neal, tastierista e voce principale, era anche il principale compositore prima di lasciare la band nel 2002 per intraprendere una carriera solista. Alan suona la chitarra elettrica. La coppia ha collaborato con i musicisti Nick D'Virgilio (batteria) e Dave Meros (basso), pubblicando il loro album d'esordio, *The Light*, nel 1995. Al quartetto si è poi unito il veterano tastierista Ryo Okumoto. La band ha guadagnato popolarità per i suoi album complessi e melodici, spesso ispirati a temi fantascientifici e filosofici. Tra le loro opere più note figurano *V*, *Beware of the Dog* e *The Kindness of Strangers*.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
