IMx, anciennement connus sous le nom d'Immature, étaient un groupe R and B américain géré par le producteur de disques Chris Stokes. Ses membres comprenaient Marques « Batman » Houston (né le 4 août 1981), Jerome « Romeo » Jones (né le 25 octobre 1981) et Kelton « LDB » Kessee (né le 2 janvier 1981), tous originaires de Los Angeles, en Californie, où le groupe s'est formé. Le groupe a sorti quatre albums sous le nom Immature : *On Our Worst Behavior* (1992) (qui comprenait l'ancien membre Don « Half Pint » Santos, remplacé plus tard par Kessee), *Playtyme Is Over* (1994), *We Got It* (1995) et *The Journey* (1997). En 1999, le groupe a changé de nom et a continué à sortir deux albums sous le nom IMx : *Introducing IMx* (1999) et *IMx* (2001), ainsi que l'album *Greatest Hits* (2001).
