In the life
In the life
Even when it goes up in smoke
Yeah, we all know it's a good life (In the life)
You should love it when it rains on you
Then you know that it's a real life (In the life)
So get up, get up, get up
Look me in the eye (In the life)
If you don't I'm gonna dance on top of your grave
I'll sing it all night (In the life)
We sink or swim in this paradise (In the life)
Sharks are circling
So swim for your life
Never dared
N?ver cared, nev?r dared
Thought you were old enough to see it through
The child is calling, he still lived in you
I was the fool cause I thought you cared, no
Meant to tell my foolish self those words
Tell that boy I'm not coming home
You lost this one
Lost this one, now move on to the next one (In the life)
You lost this one, now move on to the next one (In the life)
Lost this one, now move on to the next one (In the life)
Woke up at midday
Bedsheets stuck to your skin (In the life)
Your life is passing by
Down the drain you slip (In the life)
You facetime your friend at five
You tell her you're getting by (In the life)
You tell her you're getting by (In the life)
You lost this one (In the life)
Lost this one, now move on to the next one (In the life)
You lost this one (In the life)
You lost this one, now move on to the next one
Even when it goes up in smoke
Yeah, we all know it's a good life (In the life)
You should love it when it rains on you
Then you know that it's a real life (In the life)
So get up, get up, get up
Look me in the eye (In the life)
If you don't I'm gonna dance on top of your grave
I'll sing it all night (In the life)
We sink or swim in this paradise (In the life)
Sharks are circling
So swim for your life (In the life)
We sink or swim in this paradise (In the life)
Sharks are circling
So swim for your life (In the life)
In the life
In the life
In the life
