The Rembrandts sono un duo musicale statunitense formatosi nel 1989 da Phil Solem e Danny Wilde. I due avevano precedentemente collaborato come membri del gruppo Great Buildings negli anni '80. Il loro genere musicale si colloca nell'ambito dell'alternative rock, con influenze pop e folk. La band ha raggiunto il successo internazionale a metà degli anni '90 grazie alla canzone "I'll Be There for You", utilizzata come sigla di apertura della celebre sitcom Friends. Questo brano è diventato il loro maggiore successo, contribuendo ad aumentare la loro popolarità globale. Oltre a questo singolo, The Rembrandts hanno pubblicato altri brani di successo come "Just the Way It Is" e "Bittersweet", presenti in album come "Everybody's Listening" (1994) e "Frou Frou Symphonies" (1996).

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
