Kevin Gates, all'anagrafe Kevin Gilyard, è un rapper, cantante e imprenditore statunitense nato a Baton Rouge, Louisiana, nel 1986. Dopo una gioventù segnata da difficoltà economiche e legali, Gates ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni 2000, pubblicando mixtape indipendenti che hanno attirato l'attenzione del pubblico.
