Cryptic Wintermoon est un groupe musical formé en 1993. Leur style musical se situe dans le gothic metal et l'ambient dark. Le groupe a sorti plusieurs albums, dont "Of Shadows ... and the Dark Things You Fear", "A Coming Storm", "Cryptic Wintermoon", "Voyage Dans la Lune" et "The Age of Cataclysm". Malgré une base de fans respectable dans le paysage musical underground, Cryptic Wintermoon n'a pas atteint une reconnaissance grand public.
