Dr. Octagon est un rappeur et producteur musical américain connu pour son style unique qui mélange hip hop alternatif, acid rap, trip hop et éléments expérimentaux. Son vrai nom est Dan the Automator, déjà célèbre pour ses collaborations avec des artistes comme Gorillaz et Deltron 3030. Dr. Octagon a fait ses débuts en 1996 avec l'album "Dr. Octagonecologyst", un travail innovant qui a anticipé de nombreuses tendances musicales des années suivantes.
