dc Talk è un gruppo musicale cristiano rock formatosi a Lynchburg, Virginia alla fine degli anni '80 da Toby McKeehan, Kevin Max Smith e Michael Tait. I loro primi due album erano hip-hop, ma ebbero maggiore successo quando introdussero temi pop nel terzo, *Free at Last*. L'album portò la band al platino e guadagnò loro il Grammy Award per il miglior album rock gospel. McKeehan, noto anche come TobyMac, ha continuato a perseguire una carriera di successo in ambito musicale dopo lo scioglimento del gruppo nel 2000.
