Glen Travis Campbell (1936-2017) è stato un cantante, chitarrista, paroliere e attore statunitense considerato uno dei più grandi artisti del country music. Iniziò la sua carriera negli anni cinquanta come session man per diversi artisti di Nashville, prima di emergere come solista con il suo album d'esordio "Glen Campbell" nel 1962. Campbell ha raggiunto il successo internazionale negli anni sessanta e settanta con successi come "Rhinestone Cowboy", "Wichita Lineman" e "Gentle on My Mind". Il suo stile musicale era caratterizzato da una voce calda e melodiosa, un'eccellente tecnica chitarristica e la capacità di interpretare canzoni country, pop e folk con grande sensibilità. Oltre alla musica, Campbell ha recitato in diversi film e programmi televisivi, dimostrando un talento versatile che lo ha reso una figura iconica del panorama musicale americano.
