We Are Scientists sono un gruppo rock formatosi a Berkeley, California nel 2000. Il nucleo originario era composto da Keith Murray alla batteria, Chris Cain al basso e Scott Lamb ai vocal e chitarra. Successivamente Michael Tapper si è unito come batterista, mentre Keith ha assunto il ruolo di vocalist e chitarrista. Il loro successo è arrivato con il secondo album *With Love and Squalor*, che ha venduto 100.000 copie nei primi sei mesi. Un altro successo significativo è stato *Brain Thrust Mastery*, che ha raggiunto la posizione numero 11 nella classifica britannica, con i singoli di successo «After Hours» e «Chick Lit». Attualmente il gruppo sta promuovendo il loro quarto album, *Barbara*, oltre a recitare nel cortometraggio televisivo *Steve Wants His Money*.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
