Mike + The Mechanics è un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi nel 1985 dal bassista e chitarrista dei Genesis Mike Rutherford. La formazione iniziale comprendeva Paul Carrack (ex Roxy Music) alle voci e tastiere, Paul Young (ex Sad Café) alla voce, Adrian Lee alle tastiere e Peter Van Hooke (ex Van Morrison) alla batteria. Il gruppo ha raggiunto il successo internazionale con brani come "The Living Years", "Over My Shoulder" e "Silent Running". La musica di Mike + The Mechanics è caratterizzata da melodie orecchiabili, arrangiamenti sofisticati e testi introspettivi che esplorano temi di amore, perdita e nostalgia. Nel corso degli anni, la formazione del gruppo ha subito diverse variazioni, ma Rutherford rimane il membro costante e principale compositore.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
