Major Lazer est un projet musical de musique dancehall électronique fondé en 2008 par le DJ et producteur de disques américain Diplo. Initialement une collaboration avec le DJ Switch, leurs chemins se sont séparés en 2011. Actuellement, le projet comprend également les DJs Walshy Fire et Ape Drums, qui accompagnent Diplo dans la production et les performances live. Major Lazer a contribué à diffuser la musique dancehall électronique à travers le monde, collaborant avec des artistes internationaux tels que Jillionaire, Bruno Mars, Travis Scott et Ellie Goulding.
