Twiztid est un duo de hip hop américain formé en 1997 à Detroit, Michigan. Le groupe est composé de Jamie Madrox (Jamie Spaniolo) et Monoxide (Paul Methfessel). Connus pour leur style musical sombre et horrorcore, Twiztid a publié une vaste discographie d'albums, de mixtapes et de singles, gagnant un public fidèle dans le monde du hip hop underground. Leurs paroles explorent souvent des thèmes comme la mort, l'enfer, les drogues et la violence, présentés avec un humour macabre et une forte composante narrative. Parmi leurs morceaux les plus représentatifs figurent "The Dark Side", "Killin' Time" et "I'm a Monster". Leur album de début "Mostasteless" (2001) a marqué le début de leur carrière, suivi du succès de "The Green Book" (2003) et "The 2nd Coming" (2005). Twiztid a collaboré avec des artistes comme Blaze Ya Dead Homie, Tech N9ne et Dopehead.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
