Biografia

Chairlift è un gruppo musicale statunitense di musica elettronica pop, formatosi a New York nel 2003. Il duo, composto da Patrick Wimberly e Caroline Polachek, si distingue per sonorità synth-pop orecchiabili e testi introspettivi. Dopo l'EP "The Golden Record" (2008), hanno raggiunto il successo internazionale con l'album di debutto "Does You Inspire Me?" (2009), contenente il singolo "Bruises", diventato un inno indie pop. Nel 2016, Polachek ha lasciato il gruppo per intraprendere una carriera solista. Wimberly continua a produrre musica sotto il nome Chairlift. Tra i brani più rappresentativi di Chairlift ricordiamo "I Belong in Your Arms", "Euthanasia" e "Show U Off".
