The Ready Set è lo pseudonimo di Jordan Mark Witzigreuter, cantautore e musicista statunitense nato nel 1987. Il suo stile musicale si colloca nell'ambito del pop rock, con influenze dal synthpop e dall'emo. La sua musica è caratterizzata da melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e un uso creativo di sintetizzatori. Witzigreuter ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale nel 2006 pubblicando mixtape online. Il suo album di debutto, *The Anatomy of a Breakup*, è uscito nel 2007 e ha riscosso un discreto successo. Tra i suoi brani più noti figurano "Cute Without the 'E' (Cut From the Team)", "I Don't Wanna Be an Adult" e "Love Like This". The Ready Set ha collaborato con artisti come Owl City e Breathe Carolina, partecipando a tour musicali di grande successo.
