Gli Strung Out sono una band hardcore punk originaria di Simi Valley, California, formatasi nel 1990. Conosciuti per il loro sound caratteristico, che fonde elementi di punk rock e heavy metal, hanno pubblicato dieci album su Fat Wreck Chords, un'etichetta discografica indipendente nota per la sua attenzione al genere punk.
