Australian Crawl è stata una band rock australiana formatasi nel 1978 a Melbourne. I membri fondatori erano James Reyne (voce e pianoforte), Brad Robinson (chitarra ritmica), Paul Williams (basso), Simon Binks (chitarra solista) e David Reyne (batteria). David Reyne lasciò presto il gruppo per essere sostituito da Bill McDonough (batteria e percussioni). In seguito si unì anche suo fratello Guy McDonough (voce e chitarra ritmica). La band ha raggiunto la fama negli anni '80 con successi come "Reckless", "Hooligans" e "The Boys Light Up". Le loro canzoni spesso affrontavano temi di vita quotidiana, come l'amore, la gioventù e le amicizie, ma non esitavano a toccare anche argomenti sociali più profondi. Brad Robinson, chitarrista fondatore del gruppo, è morto due settimane dopo l'induzione nella Hall of Fame australiana per un tumore al linfoma.
