The Black Dahlia Murder est un groupe de death metal originaire de Waterford, Michigan. Le nom du groupe provient de l'assassinat non résolu d'Elizabeth Short, surnommée « Black Dahlia ». Fondé en 2001, le groupe a gagné en popularité pour son style musical agressif et technique, caractérisé par des riffs rapides, des hurlements gutturaux et des paroles souvent sombres et macabres. Parmi leurs albums les plus notables figurent "Unhallowed" (2003), "Nocturnal" (2007) et "Deflorate" (2011).
