Cameron Jibril Thomaz, connu dans le monde entier sous le nom de Wiz Khalifa, est un rappeur, chanteur et acteur américain né à Minot, Dakota du Nord, en 1987. Après avoir commencé sa carrière musicale à l'âge de 15 ans, il a gagné en popularité nationale avec son mixtape "Kush and Orange Juice" (2009). Son premier album, "Rolling Papers", est sorti en 2011 et a atteint la première place du Billboard 200. Wiz Khalifa est connu pour son style musical caractérisé par des rimes rapides, des mélodies accrocheuses et des paroles souvent centrées sur le cannabis. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
