Earl Sweatshirt, de son vrai nom Thebe Neruda Kgositsile, est un rappeur, auteur-compositeur et producteur de disques américain né en 1994 à Los Angeles. Fils du poète américain Keorapetse Kgositsile, Earl a commencé à écrire du rap à l'âge de dix ans, publiant ses premiers mixtapes en ligne pendant son adolescence. En 2010, il rejoint le collectif Odd Future, gagnant rapidement une réputation pour ses rimes complexes et son flow sombre.
