Gli XTC sono una storica band britannica di rock alternativo formatasi a Swindon nel 1972. Guidati da Andy Partridge (voce, chitarra) e Colin Moulding (basso), i due membri fondatori e principali compositori, hanno attraversato diverse fasi musicali, dal punk alla new wave fino ad un sound più pop orchestrale. Nonostante una certa popolarità negli anni '70, il gruppo non ha mai raggiunto il successo commerciale mainstream, pur guadagnandosi un seguito di culto grazie all'originalità e alla complessità delle loro composizioni. Influenzati dal power pop e dal Britpop, gli XTC sono considerati oggi un punto di riferimento per generi musicali come l'art rock e il progressive pop. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
