Lionel Richie (Compton, 20 giugno 1949) è un cantautore, musicista e produttore discografico statunitense di fama mondiale. Iniziò la sua carriera come membro del gruppo The Commodores, con cui ottenne successi negli anni '70 come "Easy" e "Brick House".
