Casting Crowns è una band cristiana di soft rock originaria della Georgia, negli Stati Uniti. Fondata dal pastore Mark Hall nel 1999, il gruppo ha come obiettivo la diffusione del messaggio cristiano attraverso le proprie canzoni. Tutti i membri sono attualmente ministri della Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church. Il sound dei Casting Crowns è caratterizzato da ballate emozionanti e testi profondamente spirituali. Tra i brani più famosi si ricordano "Praise You In This Storm", "Who Am I", "East To West" e "Only Jesus". L'album di debutto, omonimo, risale al 2003 ed è stato un successo immediato, consacrando la band come una delle voci più importanti della musica cristiana contemporanea.
