Limp Bizkit est un groupe américain de nu metal originaire de Jacksonville, en Floride. Formé en 1994 par Fred Durst (chant), Wes Borland (guitare), Sam Rivers (basse) et John Otto (batterie), le groupe a atteint la renommée internationale dans les années 1990 avec un son caractérisé par des influences de rap, du groove metal et des éléments punk. Parmi leurs albums les plus importants figurent "Significant Other" (1999), qui contient le single à succès "Break Stuff", et "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water" (2000). J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
