Kate Anna Rusby (nata il 4 dicembre 1973 a Sheffield, Inghilterra) è una cantautrice e musicista folk inglese originaria di Penistone, South Yorkshire. Spesso soprannominata "The Barnsley Nightingale", ha intrapreso tour in tutta l'Inghilterra e si è esibita in numerosi festival folk nazionali britannici. Considerata una delle più famose cantanti folk inglesi contemporanee, nel 2001 The Guardian l'ha definita "una superstar della scena acustica britannica".
