Dilated Peoples est un groupe de hip hop underground californien composé de DJ Babu (producteur/DJ), Evidence (rappeur et producteur) et Rakaa Iriscience (rappeur). Actifs depuis 1998, ils ont acquis une certaine notoriété dans la scène du hip hop underground, bien qu'ils n'aient pas connu un grand succès commercial aux États-Unis. Leur collaboration avec Kanye West sur "This Way" en 2004 a été leur plus grand succès commercial, atteignant le Top 40 des classements singles du Royaume-Uni aux côtés de "Worst Comes to Worst". Parmi leurs albums les plus notables figurent *Neighborhood Watch* (2001) et *The Platform* (2006). Dilated Peoples sont connus pour leurs rimes complexes, leurs productions innovantes et leurs paroles politiques.
