Jessica Hilda Mauboy (Darwin, 4 agosto 1989) è una cantante, autrice e attrice australiana di origini aborigene. Ha raggiunto la fama nel 2006 partecipando al talent show Australian Idol, classificandosi seconda. Dopo il programma ha firmato un contratto con Sony Music Australia ed ha pubblicato il suo album di debutto, *Jessica Mauboy*, che ha venduto oltre 1 milione di copie in Australia. Nel corso della sua carriera ha vinto numerosi premi ARIA Awards e ha collaborato con artisti come Flo Rida e Pitbull. Tra i suoi brani più famosi figurano "We Got Enough", "Running Back" e "Little Things". Mauboy è anche una nota attrice, avendo recitato in film e serie televisive australiane.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
