Golden Earring est un groupe de hard rock néerlandais formé en 1961. Connu pour son son hard rock et progressif, il a atteint la renommée internationale dans les années 1970 avec des succès comme "Radar Love" (1973) et "Twilight Zone" (1982). Le groupe est composé de deux membres fondateurs : George Kooymans (chant, guitare) et Rinus Gerritsen (basse, claviers), ainsi que Barry Hay (chant, guitare, flûte, saxophone, entré en 1968) et Ceasar Zuiderwijk (batterie, depuis 1970). Golden Earring a sorti plus de 30 albums, dont beaucoup ont atteint le statut de platine ou d'or aux Pays-Bas. Parmi ses chansons les plus représentatives, on peut citer "When the Lady Smiles", "Just a Song" et "Clear Head".
