Craig G est un rappeur et producteur de disques américain actif depuis les années 1980. Connu pour son style de rap agressif et ses rimes complexes, il a collaboré avec des artistes comme LL Cool J, Run-DMC et Kool Moe Dee. Parmi ses albums les plus importants figurent *Operation Take Back Hip Hop* (1992) et *The Kingpin* (1994). Certaines de ses chansons les plus représentatives incluent "Now That's More Like It", "This Is Now!!!" et "Craig-G".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
