Hudson Taylor (1832-1905) è stato un missionario britannico di origini cristiane evangeliche, noto per il suo lavoro in Cina. Nato a Barnsley, Inghilterra, Taylor si dedicò alla missione dopo una profonda conversione religiosa durante la sua giovinezza. Nel 1853 si recò in Cina, dove fondò la China Inland Mission (CIM), un'organizzazione missionaria che ha avuto un impatto significativo sulla storia del paese. Taylor era noto per la sua dedizione al popolo cinese, imparando la lingua e le tradizioni locali, adattando i metodi di evangelizzazione alle culture cinesi e promuovendo l'educazione e il benessere sociale.
