Martin Smith (nato il 19 marzo 1973) è un cantautore e musicista britannico, noto soprattutto come frontman del gruppo rock alternativo The Beautiful South. Nato a Sheffield, in Inghilterra, Smith ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '80 con diverse band locali prima di unirsi ai The Beautiful South nel 1989. Con il suo stile vocale distintivo e le sue testi spesso ironiche e sarcastiche, Smith è diventato una figura iconica della musica britannica degli anni '90. Tra i successi più noti del gruppo figurano "A Little Time", "Don't Let Him Know" e "Old Red Eyes Is Back".
