Titus Andronicus est un groupe de rock indépendant originaire de Glen Rock, New Jersey, formé en 2005. Le nom du groupe est tiré de la pièce de théâtre de Shakespeare *Titus Andronicus*, et les influences musicales et esthétiques citées sont aussi diverses que Neutral Milk Hotel et Pulp. Leur album de début, *The Airing of Grievances*, est sorti en 2008 et a été décrit comme le son d'un groupe indie rock violent, exagéré et irrespectueux dans une critique positive sur Pitchfork. Le deuxième album du groupe, *The Monitor*, est sorti le 9 mars 2010. En mars, le magazine Rolling Stone a nommé le groupe l'une des 10 meilleures nouvelles formations de 2010.
