Devin The Dude est un rappeur américain connu pour son style décontracté et ses paroles introspectives. Il a fait ses débuts en 1998 avec des contributions à deux titres de l'album *My Homies* du rappeur Scarface, qui s'est vendu à platine. Il a sorti son premier album solo la même année, gagnant une réputation d'artiste prometteur grâce également à sa collaboration avec Dr. Dre sur l'album multimillionnaire *2001*. Parmi ses albums les plus acclamés figurent *To Tha X-Treme* (2004) et *Waitin' To Inhale* (2007), ce dernier mettant en vedette des collaborations avec des artistes de renom tels qu'Andre 3000, Snoop Dogg et Lil Wayne. Devin The Dude est considéré comme un artiste underground influent, apprécié pour son originalité et son approche unique du rap.
