Dakona è stata una band canadese di rock alternativo cristiano formatasi nel 1997 e sciolta nel 2004. La band ha raggiunto un discreto successo negli anni 2000 con album come "The Sound of Silence" (2000) e "A New Day" (2002), caratterizzati da sonorità melodiche e testi ispirati alla fede cristiana. Tra i brani più noti di Dakona figurano "The Sound of Silence", "I Will Follow You" e "A New Day". La band ha contribuito a diffondere la musica cristiana alternativa in Canada e negli Stati Uniti, influenzando diverse altre band del genere.
