Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) est un groupe britannique de synth-pop formé à Liverpool à la fin des années 1970 par Andy McCluskey et Paul Humphreys. Leur succès international a commencé dans les années 1980 avec des singles comme "Enola Gay", "Souvenir" et "Joan Of Arc", qui ont atteint les classements britanniques. En 1982, "Maid of Orleans (the Waltz Joan of Arc)" est devenu un succès mondial. Leurs albums, dont *Architecture and Morality* (1981) et *Dazzle Ships* (1983), ont connu un grand succès.
