I Fat Boys sono un gruppo hip hop statunitense formatosi a Brooklyn, New York, negli anni '80. Composto da Prince Markie Dee, Kool Rock Ski e Buffy the Body, il trio ha raggiunto la fama grazie al loro stile musicale divertente e orecchiabile, spesso caratterizzato da campionamenti di musica pop e soul. I Fat Boys hanno contribuito a definire l'immagine del rap comico e sono stati pionieri nell'utilizzo di effetti sonori e beat dancehall nelle loro canzoni. Tra i loro brani più famosi ci sono "The Twist", "Are You Ready for This?" e "Jailhouse Rock". J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
