Corb Lund è un cantautore e musicista canadese, noto per il suo stile musicale che fonde country, folk e rock con influenze western. Nato in Alberta nel 1965, Lund ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '80 suonando in band locali. Nel 1994 ha pubblicato il suo album di debutto, "The Engine Driver", seguito da una serie di successi come "Hair in My Eyes Like a Highland Steer" (2003) e "Horse Soldier! Horse Soldier!" (2007). Lund è noto per le sue canzoni narrative che raccontano storie di vita quotidiana, cowboy e personaggi del West. Ha collaborato con artisti come The Sadies e ha vinto numerosi premi musicali, tra cui il Canadian Country Music Award per l'album dell'anno. Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Ballad of the Alberta Oil Sands", "Keep It Clean" e "My Favourite Picture of You".
