Trophy Eyes est un groupe australien de post-hardcore originaire de Newcastle, Australie. Formé en 2013, le groupe a rapidement gagné en popularité pour ses mélodies accrocheuses et ses paroles introspectives qui explorent des thèmes comme la dépression, l'anxiété et la recherche d'identité. Signés chez Hopeless Records, ils ont sorti quatre albums studio : *Outspoken* (2015), *Chemical Baths* (2017), *The American Dream* (2019) et *Something to Believe In* (2023). Les titres les plus représentatifs incluent "Chlorine", "Apathy", "The Difference" et "You're Not Alone". J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
