U-God, de son vrai nom Lamont Jody Hawkins, est un rappeur américain né à New York en 1970. Il est membre fondateur du légendaire collectif de hip hop Wu-Tang Clan, connu pour avoir révolutionné le paysage musical des années 1990 avec un son brut et innovant. U-God se distingue par ses rimes denses et complexes, souvent caractérisées par une forte composante narrative.
