Decapitated è una band di death metal polacca formatasi nel 1996 a Kraków. Considerati uno dei gruppi più influenti del genere, sono noti per la loro musica aggressiva e tecnica, caratterizzata da riff veloci, blast beat e growl gutturali. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Slaughter of the Soul", "Impulse of Darkness" e "Never Dead". L'album di debutto "Winds of Creation" (1998) ha segnato l'inizio della loro ascesa nel panorama metal internazionale. Nel corso degli anni, la band ha collaborato con artisti come Vader e Nile, partecipando a numerosi festival metal in tutto il mondo. Decapitated è stata anche oggetto di un documentario intitolato "Decapitated: The Movie" (2016).
